An original is not bought here; it is chosen, and then talked about. This page explains the quiet way the work changes hands.
How it works
Reserve
From any piece’s page, send a short note saying you would like to reserve it. No payment, no obligation — the piece is simply held while you talk.
A reply
Chanika replies personally with anything not already shown — the price, when a price is not listed, and the details of shipping and framing to your part of the world.
It travels
Once you are sure, the piece is packed with care, insured for its full value, and sent to you. Works on paper travel flat and framed or unframed, as you prefer.
Arrival
The piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity and its story. If you ever have questions about hanging, care, or later rehoming it, the conversation simply continues.
A few honest notes
Every original exists once. A piece stays listed until it is reserved, then marked Reserved while its future is decided. Once a piece has found a home it leaves the public list and is marked In a private collection — the site tells the truth about what is still available.
Prices sit quietly beside each work; where none is shown it is shared on request. Framing, shipping, and any customs are arranged individually for each destination before you commit.
Commissions. If a piece you love has already found a home — or you carry an idea of your own — a commission begins with a conversation about size, palette, and time. Write through Contact.
Prints. If limited editions are ever released, they will appear beside their originals in The Work — signed, numbered, and described — never in a separate store.
